Providing comprehensive imaging services delivered through legendary service with integrity throughout Palm Beach and North Broward communities. We offer a family-like atmosphere, state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment working alongside one of the largest and most prestigious radiology groups in South Florida.

Founded in 1992, DCA has revolutionized diagnostic imaging by combining advanced state-of-the-art medical equipment, software, and exceptional customer service. We provide a full array of imaging services, including MRI, CT, PET/CT, nuclear medicine, 3D mammography, ultrasound, bone density, and digital X-ray.

DCA was the first and still holds a special accreditation in South Florida earning us a Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence (DICOE) designation by the American College of Radiology.

We have seven convenient locations in North Broward, Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Wellington, West Palm Beach and expanding our footprint into Palm Beach Gardens this summer!

CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist

Job Description

The CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist uses computed tomography (Specialized X-ray) equipment to acquire images of a patient’s body from different angles. The Cat Scan technologist helps to locate internal injuries as well as aiding in the diagnosing of potential pathological conditions; sometimes with the aid of contrast media. The Cat Scan technologists prepare patients for their exams by answering questions and positioning them for minimal radiation
exposure.

Mammography Technologist

Job Description

The Mammography Technologist, under direct supervision, performs specialized examinations of the breast to help in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease. These exams include both screening and diagnostic studies, and when necessary will perform additional specialized views. The Mammographer is trained to adhere to all guidelines set forth by both the FDA & MQSA.

MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) Technologist

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will operate their scanner to create optimal diagnostic images for the radiologist’s interpretation. The technologist will follow all MRI safety guidelines, while acquiring accurate medical histories to ensure proper outcomes. The technologist is there not only to operate the scanner, but to also ensure that their patients are both comfortable and calm. The MRI technologists are organized, detail-oriented healthcare professionals who are familiar with the anatomical area that is being scanned as they help diagnose their patient’s condition.

Patient Access Liaison

Job Description

The Patient Access Liaison (PAL) serves as the first point of contact for patients at our facilities.  PAL is responsible for greeting and directing patients to waiting areas, dressing rooms and examination rooms. PAL will maintain a consistent flow of patients ensuring schedules are run on time by collaborating with the front desk, and technologists. PAL also ensures patients are informed, updated, and assisted, when necessary. This includes determining patient needs by listening to their concerns, and making sure those needs are met by liaising with patients, family members, and medical staff.  PALs help sanitize and clean various areas such as the lobby, prep rooms, exam rooms, dressing rooms and restrooms.  In addition, take patient temperatures, adhere and enforce patients are wearing a mask or face shield and will create a proper workflow to move patients throughout the location while following guidelines for social distancing.entry-level,

This position is currently available at the following centers: Wellington, W. Boynton Beach, E. Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Boca Raton, W. Boca Raton/N. Broward. PALs will work 4 days a week and must be able to work 10 hour shifts due DCA business operating hours.

Patient Services Representative/ Front Desk

Job Description

The Patient Services Representative provides optimal patient-centered care experiences supporting the administrative front office activities. This includes check-in/registration and medical records functions. In this pivotal role at DCA and the ideal candidate needs to be comfortable working in a high volume and fast-paced environment that has a genuine enthusiasm for patient care.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Providing legendary patient experiences
  • Greeting and registering patients
  • Utilizing and navigating EHR software and programs
  • Coordination with appointment scheduling
  • Patient education of diagnostic examinations and preparedness instructions
  • Health information management in compliance with policy, procedures and HIPAA

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • 2 + years of delivering exceptional customer service
  • 2+ years of medical office experience, preferably in Diagnostic Imaging
  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work extended hours of operation, including weekends
  • Ability to work 8, 10, 12 hour shifts during morning, mid-day, evening and weekends
  • Ability to work well in multi-disciplinary professional teams
  • Bilingual preferred

Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer)

Job Description

The Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) works directly with the Radiologist in acquiring images with the use of equipment that uses high-frequency sound waves to record images of the internal organs. The technologists will verify clinical history and health status and evaluate all related tests, all the while communicating comfortably and clearly with the patient. The Sonographer will operate the Ultrasound equipment and analyze all findings in real time during the examination to ensure optimal data is obtained.

X-ray Technologist

Job Description

The function of an X-ray technologist or (Radiographer) is to produce high-quality images with the use of
specialized equipment. With the knowledge of proper positioning along with principles of ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) dose, the X-ray technologist will aid in the diagnosis of a vast number of abnormalities in tissues, organs, bones, and vessels.
