Founded in 1992, DCA has revolutionized diagnostic imaging by combining advanced state-of-the-art medical equipment, software, and exceptional customer service. We provide a full array of imaging services, including MRI, CT, PET/CT, nuclear medicine, 3D mammography, ultrasound, bone density, and digital X-ray.

DCA was the first and still holds a special accreditation in South Florida earning us a Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence (DICOE) designation by the American College of Radiology.

We have seven convenient locations in North Broward, Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Wellington, West Palm Beach and expanding our footprint into Palm Beach Gardens this summer!

Bookkeeper/Staff Accountant

Job Description:

Staff Accountant I is responsible for handling accounts payable, accounts receivable and general accounting functions. The Staff Accountant creates, prepares, and analyzes financial records for our company. Responsibilities include maintaining financial records and reports, performing account reconciliations, assisting with budget and close processes, conducting internal audits, and maintaining accounts payable documentation. In this pivotal role, you are providing professional accounting support to the Assistant Controller and CFO.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Handles all accounts payable to include obtaining invoice approvals, packing lists, invoice entries and payments.
  • Pay supplier invoices in a timely manner
  • Take all reasonable discounts on supplier invoices
  • Pay debt as it comes due for payment. Processes patient refund checks in a timely manner.
  • Monitor debt levels and compliance with debt covenants
  • Ensure that receivables are collected promptly. Maintains electronic and paper filing for accounts payable and cash receipts from centers.
  • Record cash receipts and make bank deposits. Reconciles daily merchant funding to cash entries for ease of bank reconciliation
  • Records all bank ACH transactions and supplier auto-debits.
  • Conduct a monthly reconciliation of every bank account. Reconciles monthly vendor statements and resolves vendor issues.
  • Conduct periodic reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy
  • Maintain the petty cash fund
  • Records employee expense reports.
  • Purchase supplies and equipment as authorized by management. Monitor office supply levels and reorder as necessary
  • Provide information for the contribution of the company’s financial statements
  • Maintain an orderly accounting system and vendor files.
  • Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management
  • Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested
  • Follow accounting policies and procedures

Requirements/Qualifications:

Education:

Minimum of a High School Diploma. Associates or Bachelor degree in related fields preferred.

  • Certified Public Bookkeeper (CPB) Highly desired or
  • Certified Bookkeeper (CB) Highly desired

Experience:

Minimum of five (5) years of related experience, in the healthcare field, preferred.

Specialized knowledge:

  • Bookkeeping

  • QuickBooks

Center Supervisor, Delray Beach

Job Description:

Under general direction of Center Manager, the Center Supervisor assist in coordinating the day to day operation of the Diagnostic Imaging Center; recommends, acts as superuser with implementations, and adheres to policies, and procedures related to diagnostic imaging; trains patient services and health information representatives in addition to supervision of all center staff including clinical team members. This position ensures increasing levels of patient and employee satisfaction while improving the efficiency of the center’s daily functions.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 11:30am – 7:30pm and rounding at least one weekend a month

Essential Job Functions:

  • · Supervise daily operations of the center; to include working with administrative team, technologists and Radiologists
  • · Effectively manage multiple projects and tasks.
  • · Works hands-on to ensure all patients are seen in a timely manner.
  • · Maintain daily/monthly employee schedules.
  • · Assist with the continued education of prospective patients, physicians, organizations and referral sources about DCA’s services.
  • · Assist in the continual development of DCA’s systems and processes.

CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist

Job Description

The CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist uses computed tomography (Specialized X-ray) equipment to acquire images of a patient’s body from different angles. The Cat Scan technologist helps to locate internal injuries as well as aiding in the diagnosing of potential pathological conditions; sometimes with the aid of contrast media. The Cat Scan technologists prepare patients for their exams by answering questions and positioning them for minimal radiation
exposure.

Mammography Technologist

Job Description

The Mammography Technologist, under direct supervision, performs specialized examinations of the breast to help in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease. These exams include both screening and diagnostic studies, and when necessary will perform additional specialized views. MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) Technologist

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will operate their scanner to create optimal diagnostic images for the radiologist’s interpretation. The technologist will follow all MRI safety guidelines, while acquiring accurate medical histories to ensure proper outcomes. The technologist is there not only to operate the scanner, but to also ensure that their patients are both comfortable and calm. Patient Access Liaison

Job Description

The Patient Access Liaison (PAL) serves as the first point of contact for patients at our facilities.  PAL is responsible for greeting and directing patients to waiting areas, dressing rooms and examination rooms. PAL will maintain a consistent flow of patients ensuring schedules are run on time by collaborating with the front desk, and technologists. PAL also ensures patients are informed, updated, and assisted, when necessary. This includes determining patient needs by listening to their concerns, and making sure those needs are met by liaising with patients, family members, and medical staff.  PALs help sanitize and clean various areas such as the lobby, prep rooms, exam rooms, dressing rooms and restrooms.  In addition, take patient temperatures, adhere and enforce patients are wearing a mask or face shield and will create a proper workflow to move patients throughout the location while following guidelines for social distancing.entry-level,

Patient Services Representative/ Front Desk

Job Description

The Patient Services Representative provides optimal patient-centered care experiences supporting the administrative front office activities. This includes check-in/registration and medical records functions. In this pivotal role at DCA and the ideal candidate needs to be comfortable working in a high volume and fast-paced environment that has a genuine enthusiasm for patient care.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

The Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) works directly with the Radiologist in acquiring images with the use of equipment that uses high-frequency sound waves to record images of the internal organs. The technologists will verify clinical history and health status and evaluate all related tests, all the while communicating comfortably and clearly with the patient. The Sonographer will operate the Ultrasound equipment and analyze all findings in real time during the examination to ensure optimal data is obtained.
