Founded in 1992, Diagnostic Centers of America (DCA) has revolutionized diagnostic imaging by combining advanced state-of-the-art medical equipment and software, with one of the largest and most prestigious radiology groups in Palm Beach County and exceptional customer service. CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist

Job Description

The CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist uses computed tomography (Specialized X-ray) equipment to acquire images of a patient’s body from different angles. The Cat Scan technologist helps to locate internal injuries as well as aiding in the diagnosing of potential pathological conditions; sometimes with the aid of contrast media. The Cat Scan technologists prepare patients for their exams by answering questions and positioning them for minimal radiation
exposure.

MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) Technologist

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will operate their scanner to create optimal diagnostic images for the radiologist’s interpretation. The technologist will follow all MRI safety guidelines, while acquiring accurate medical histories to ensure proper outcomes. The technologist is there not only to operate the scanner, but to also ensure that their patients are both comfortable and calm. The MRI technologists are organized, detail-oriented healthcare professionals who are familiar with the anatomical area that is being scanned as they help diagnose their patient’s condition.

Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer)

Job Description

The Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) works directly with the Radiologist in acquiring images with the use of equipment that uses high-frequency sound waves to record images of the internal organs. The technologists will verify clinical history and health status and evaluate all related tests, all the while communicating comfortably and clearly with the patient. The Sonographer will operate the Ultrasound equipment and analyze all findings in real time during the examination to ensure optimal data is obtained.

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Job Description

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is there to operate equipment (Gamma cameras) to create images of areas of a patient’s body. They prepare radioactive drugs and administer them to the patient, usually through an intravenous line. The radioactive materials cause abnormal areas of the body to appear different from normal areas in the acquired images. The technologist will then prepare the exam for analysis through post-processing and image enhancement. The Nuclear medicine technologist will ensure the safety of both patient and staff by strictly adhering to all state and federal guidelines.

Mammography Technologist

Job Description

The Mammography Technologist, under direct supervision, performs specialized examinations of the breast to help in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease. These exams include both screening and diagnostic studies, and when necessary will perform additional specialized views. Job Description

The function of an X-ray technologist or (Radiographer) is to produce high-quality images with the use of
specialized equipment. With the knowledge of proper positioning along with principles of ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) dose, the X-ray technologist will aid in the diagnosis of a vast number of abnormalities in tissues, organs, bones, and vessels.

Patient Access Liaison

Job Description

The Patient Access Liaison (PAL) serves as the first point of contact for patients at our facilities.  PAL is responsible for greeting and directing patients to waiting areas, dressing rooms and examination rooms. PAL will maintain a consistent flow of patients ensuring schedules are run on time by collaborating with the front desk, and technologists. PAL also ensures patients are informed, updated, and assisted, when necessary. This includes determining patient needs by listening to their concerns, and making sure those needs are met by liaising with patients, family members, and medical staff.  PALs help sanitize and clean various areas such as the lobby, prep rooms, exam rooms, dressing rooms and restrooms.  In addition, take patient temperatures, adhere and enforce patients are wearing a mask or face shield and will create a proper workflow to move patients throughout the location while following guidelines for social distancing.entry-level,

IT System Support Specialist

Job Description

The IT System Support Specialist provides employees and vendors support and maintenance within the organization’s computing environment. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all PC hardware, servers, and equipment to ensure optimal performance. The IT System Support Specialist will be involved in IT projects as designated by business needs. This could include but is not limited to upgrades, system replacements, new locations, and facility moves.

Essential Job Functions

  • Provide end user support to all DCA employees, patients, and remote users including referring physicians and radiologists at locations throughout southern Florida
  • Support and maintain all desktop computers, radiologist workstations, laptops, and cellular phones
  • Troubleshoot system issues, implement solutions and document solutions
  • Install hardware and software as dictated by the needs of the organization
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all systems deployed throughout the organization, including many industry specific software applications and hardware
  • Research and purchase hardware and software dictated by the needs of the organization
  • Work directly with vendors and facilitate communication between multiple vendors
  • Communicate with IT team members and management status updates on projects and issues
  • Additional IT functions as dictated by the needs of the organization

Requirements/Qualifications

  • 2+ years providing technical support
  • Experience providing software hardware support phone, email and chat
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Self-starter with a strong appetite for knowledge
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to set, organize and meet priorities

Patient Services Representative/ Front Desk

Job Description

The Patient Services Representative provides optimal patient-centered care experiences supporting the administrative front office activities. This includes check-in/registration and medical records functions. In this pivotal role at DCA and the ideal candidate needs to be comfortable working in a high volume and fast-paced environment that has a genuine enthusiasm for patient care.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Providing legendary patient experiences
  • Greeting and registering patients
  • Utilizing and navigating EHR software and programs
  • Coordination with appointment scheduling

Center Manager, Palm Beach Gardens

Job Description

The Center Manager plans, organizes, directs and manages the operation of Diagnostic Imaging Center; recommends, develops, implements and evaluates goals, objectives, policies, and procedures related to diagnostic imaging; provides staff support to higher level management; and selects, trains and supervises subordinate clinical and clerical staff. This position ensures increasing levels of customer and employee satisfaction while improving the efficiency of the centers daily functions.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage, monitor and train both administrative and clinical personnel at the center.
  • Oversees daily operations of the center; to include working with administrative team, technologists and Radiologist after hours to patient delays.
  • Monitors and analyzes performance reports; summarizing data trends.
  • Collaborates with Clinical Management staff and other department managers to ensure patient scheduling and modality preparations are upheld to the stringent DCA standards.
  • Effectively manage multiple projects and tasks.
  • Works hands on to ensure all patients are seen in a timely manner.
  • Train, implement and ascertain compliance of staff with company’s daily processes.
  • Performance evaluations, to include quarterly check-ins and annual review.
  • Manages and approves administrative and clinical staff, time and attendance requests in a timely manner and time sheet approval submissions bi-weekly.

  • Responsible in conjunction with the marketing department to maintain exceptional relationships with physicians within our community.

Education:

Experience:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of related experience, in the healthcare field, with a minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience.

Specialized Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of the Diagnostic Imaging field, preferred
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology, and office procedures
  • Knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures and process.
  • Knowledge of computer programs, spreadsheets and applications
